You remember your college days … studying the books … but learning about life! Growing, discovering, sometimes making mistakes, sometimes getting it right … but having a ball through it all! Looking back … it was all an investment in who you are today. And we at the Spelman College Alumnae Association of Philadelphia are continually INVESTING in other young ladies from our area to help them head to higher education … hoping they build their own memories and begin to pour the foundation for their professional lives.

To do this, we are hoping to count on your support for our biggest scholarship fundraiser of the year! Our Spelman Alumnae Association will hold its 6th Annual Holiday Brunch at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Penns Landing in Philadelphia on Sunday, December 16th, 2007. All net proceeds will go to the Mary G. Parker C’42 Scholarship Fund that will be awarded to an incoming Spelman Freshman in need from the Delaware Valley, and is renewable upon good academic standing every year until her graduation.

The Annual Holiday Brunch is our signature event …. it attracts a diverse mix of over 150 professionals of all ages from across the region consisting of our alumnae plus their family and friends. Please review the sponsorship opportunities and we hope you’ll be a valuable part of the push to help these exceptional young ladies strive for their goal of a Spelman College education.
